Humbled.

Have you ever been humbled by God's goodness and grace?

I really can't believe how good God has been to me. I don't deserve any of it at all but I'm absurdly happy at the same time because isn't this what grace is about? It's unmerited favour. I'm loved by God though I don't deserve it. And realising this humbles me. The gawky teenager inside me feels that God believes that I HAVE POTENTIAL. It makes me giddy with joy!!!

I still feel awkward and clumsy at times. I don't know how things are going to turn out neither do I know what to do at all times nor am I very wise BUT if God is for me, then who can be against me?

Singapore Flyer

God is awesome! Got a free pair of tix for the Singapore Flyer from my boss. =]

It's really true that God knows the desires of our hearts and He wants to bless us with good things. I remember last year I really wanted to watch 'The Phantom of the Opera' and I wanted good seats but the tix were SO expensive that I didn't know if I should get them but in the end I got the Category A tix free! (Also courtesy of my kind, kind boss)

When the Singapore Flyer was open, I had a fleeting desire to go for a ride and yesterday I got the chance! God has been really, really good.

Was a pretty busy day yesterday. Went for a swim, then had driving lesson, then took my final theory then met Ivy and walked around for half an hour trying to find the Flyer! It's really far away. Had to book a flight timing and at first the guy on the phone told me I had to be half an hour earlier and I thought he was just being ridiculous but now I know why. It's coz the Flyer is so out of the way that it really takes a full 30 minutes to find it! =S

The ride wasn't too long or too short, about 45 min. Just nice actually. The view wasn't great because the IR is still in construction but once everything is up and running, I'm sure the scene would be fabulous.

After the ride, we had dinner at Secret Recipe! (AGAIN. I KNOW. I LOVE THE OXTAIL STEW.) Went to Max Brenner for drinks. Had the Equador dark chocolate with Orchid Oil. Sounds something like that...harharhar...came in a hugmug. (Photos to come later. No camera coz it went to the States with Louis and someone stole it. Long story. Ask the person who left it in his car with his bag in the backseat and who maybe left the doors unlocked.) Once Ivy sends me the pretty photos we took, I'll upload them.

There's this uber cool place beside Max Brenner. It's The Cookie Museum. The sales person was super enthusiastic and bubbly and forced divine cookies down our throat with a smile and a pair of tongs. I was so terrified I bought a tin of cookies - Cranberry Mango. 1 tin costs $35 but trust me, these cookies are so GOOD, that I felt that it was actually worth it. If you don't believe me, take a trip to The Cookie Museum where they will happily oblige your requests to taste every single cookie they have ever baked since their grandmother's time. They even have flavours like Nasi Lemak and Hae Bee Hiam. Also, it's a local enterprise and I say we support the local entrepreneurs!!! Yay for these brave, brave souls!!!

Just remembered that Emmeline and I love 'Totally Spies' the cartoon! Harharhar...so silly...

I forgot that I took a video clip of giraffes for emmeline because she has never seen a live one before. Here it is after days, weeks and months of procrastination......
